Highly recommend if you’re looking for a rental while in the OBX! Bret was the best! Very friendly and answered all our questions. We were rookies and I had a lot lol! Our family all agreed the Jeep made the whole vacation! We were able to drive up Corolla to Carova and see wild horses many times through out our stay. Jeep was awesome and easy to drive as beginners. Pick up and drop off was very easy, thanks again!

I rented a Jeep from Diane and Bret for my week in Corolla and couldn't have been happier. The Jeep drove perfectly, whether on the road or on the sand. We had everything we needed to air up/air down, the laminated directions were a perfect reference. This was my first time driving a Jeep/4x4, first time driving on the beach - I had 0 issues and would do it again in a heartbeat. We loved the blue Jeep and totally understand the hype around them! Thanks so much Diane and Bret! We will definitely rent theough you again when we return!

Great experience with Beach4x4! Highly recommend, we cruised around town and in Corolla to see 40 wild horses! Instructions were great on how to drive the jeep with 4x4 and deflating and inflating tires. All this was done day of accommodating our last minute decision to go beach driving.

*******Absolutely horrible, made a reservation back in JANUARY over the phone and paid the deposit and after and EIGHT hours of driving we show up to the address which is a disheveled mess to not a single person there Needed to call to get Bret to show up just to tell us that he has no rental for us even tho it was fully scheduled and confirmed on his end. He offered a Nissan armada in replacement for a JEEP GLADIATOR. While showing up in his unregistered personal vehicle. Appreciate the apology and the great welcoming to our yearly OBX vacation. 10/10 DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting a Nissan Armada from Bret at Beach 4x4 in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina! From start to finish, Bret made the process seamless, fun, and stress-free. My wife and I, along with our two little dogs, Pip and Platinum, were thrilled to explore the beaches of the Outer Banks, and the Armada was the perfect vehicle for our adventure. Bret was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about ensuring we had a great time. He took the time to explain everything we needed to know about driving on the beach, from tire pressure tips to the best spots to explore. His attention to detail and genuine care for his customers really stood out. He even made sure Pip and Platinum were comfortable, which meant the world to us as pet parents! The Armada itself was in pristine condition, clean, and well-maintained, making our beach drives smooth and enjoyable. It handled the sand like a champ, and we felt safe and confident cruising along the shore. The vehicle was spacious enough for all our gear, and the dogs loved lounging in the back while we took in the stunning ocean views. Bret’s customer service, combined with the quality of the Armada, made this an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend Beach 4x4 enough to anyone looking to explore the Outer Banks in style.
