First time to OBX, and booked a room here at Seahorse Inn. Arrive and checkin was a breeze. I love that you dont get a key to carry around, the room is a code you are given at check in. With my family of 4, it was so nice not having to keep track of the key and pass it person to person. Loved this feature. The room was clean, beds were comfy, extra blankets, shower was clean, and they even have shampoo and soap dispenser in shower for you. Loved the mini fridge, looked like a 50s themed fridge. Location was perfect, right across from the pier, easy access to the beach and a outdoor shower to rinse off when your done. Access to clean towels and a bin to throw dirty ones in, so your not piling them up or sitting them outside your room. Price was fair, and room was definitely worth what was paid. I will definitely be staying here again!

Last minute booking on a road trip and got what we paid for. We arrived after midnight and just needed somewhere to sleep and I am happy we were only here for on night. The parking is limited with a very narrow lot, the building is dated and creaky and you can hear every sound on the property. There was a balcony right outside our room where people were smoking and drinking and loud and the we could smell the smoke inside. The rooms were clean enough but the toilet was broken and would not flush and it was so late that there was no front desk attendant to contact. Needless to say, we used this spot for a nights sleep and did not linger once we woke up. As long as you go in with the understanding that this is a budget spot and nothing else, you will be fine. We were travelling with our young children and did not find this a suitable accommodation for them.

We had the best time. The manager on duty/front desk had such a good attitude and was very funny. He deserves recognition. The location is perfect with beach right across the street and a restaurant right beside the hotel. 10/10

I stayed in room 326 . my experience from reserving my room last month, to check in, to my stay, thru to ✅ out was absolutely amazing! I love this hotel. their prices are awesome esp the pet stay fees are so cheap and the rooms are up to date super clean all fresh white bath towels and wash cloths pure white no stains, rooms are spotless and well stocked, it's very friendly atmosphere apl guests are sociable and kind, very happy vibes here. there's a sectioned off place to take your pet to potty and everyone picks up their own mess, the staff is the nicest I've ever encountered at any hotel I have ever lived at or stayed at while working over the road and traveling.. he's amazing and kind and will do anything he can to help you have the best stay possible.. very accommodating, you have very good privacy here as well, it's very safe, very quiet and peaceful the beds are super comfortable and clean fresh linens, I love how you lock your door and unlock with your phone number it less hassle keeping up with a magnetized key, family friendly for sure here it's the greatest hotel stay I've had ever and I'm coming BK only to this hotel every time I visit the outer banks and I'm actually thinking bout moving here now so I'll be coming by to stay at this hotel while planning on where to move my RV.. it's a ten out of five stars on every level!! close to everything also! the staff will def go out of their way with smiles on their faces to help you enjoy yourself here.apl the rooms and cottages smell great as well due to no smoking inside.. this hotel is a game changer highly advise you book here you can't eat the price esp for the greatness of this place! ima very very happy satisfied guest like I said I'll only stay here while in the obx ty seahorse inn and cottages for your wonderful hospitality

Located across the street from the beach. The room was a bit small and dated, but clean and comfortable. Communication was sent electronically so there was no check in and rooms are accessed by a pass code, which I found convenient. The parking area was small but there seemed to be enough parking spaces.
