My husband and our two dogs just came back from a stay here! This is definitely a cute place to stay with great beach access! The staff and other guests staying here were very friendly. We enjoyed our time and plan to come back! Highly recommend!

The Sandspur is at an excellent location in Nags Head. Just north of the Jeanettes Pier, this motel and cottage property offers many ways to stay, play and enjoy the nature of Nags Head. Our unit was a 2 bedroom condo in one of the one level buildings. The unit was clean and had all the necessary items needed for a great stay. Dont forget your beach and pool towels when you come, as these are not provided. The furnishings are in good shape, the beach is beautiful, the property is clean. What more can you ask for when staying at the beautiful Outer Banks!

A wonderful motel. The staff(Joyce) is so awesome. The room was great. Clean and inviting. A very safe family atmosphere. The pool is very nice. Just steps from the ocean. We liked it so much we booked another stay in August.

These rooms are not ocean front nor ocean view like they are described. Only the houses they have available are actually ocean view/front. Rooms are clean but very outdated and small. Beds could use replaced but pillows were great. WORST shower I've ever been in, so small and not functional.

This is an amazing place to stay! They are super pet friendly and have cute little cottages! I love the private beach access and plenty of parking. I've never been in peak season but can imagine it's quite busy. We will continue to frequent on long weekends with our pups! They went out of their way for us this stay with it being off season and we greatly appreciate it! Thank you Sandspur staff and family ❤️
