Perfect location with the perfect price!! We (my 19 yr old son and I) stayed for 2 nights. My only complaint was the room was a bit dark and the mini-fridge didn'tcool very well, but easy access to ice cured that. The room definitely needed more lighting. The front desk lady was super friendly and very helpful. Great coffee and immediate access to the beach! The free breakfast was ok, I am not complaining, it was included. Easy access to sights, shopping and entertainment! I will definitely stay again!! I got up early to catch the sunrise, grabbed coffee from dining area and sat out on the walkway, basking in the fresh risen sun until I headed to the beaxh!! I did use the pool, but it seemed a bit dirty.... I am a beach girl!
I learned my lesson to believe the bad reviews when I see them!! The room was musty, the AC extremely noisy and dripping outside. The room itself seems renovated but barely renovated to justify the hefty price during peak season. Tiny bathroom. Hard mattress. Location is advertised as oceanfront but it overlooks the sand dunes and a tiny sliver of ocean. Breakfast is varied but biscuits and pancakes were microwaved, muffins were frozen, the dining area was so small with a sign saying no food or dishes outside, so how are you supposed to eat?? Pool was never cleaned during our entire stay with greasy patches floating on top. The stairs are dirty with puddles, roaches, stinky garbage, sand, etc. The staff are doing their best but the hotel needs more resources to cover the volume of visitors.
Staff are nice and friendly. Location is a convenient short walk to the beach but not oceanfront. Parking spots are tight. All in all, the place needs better management, major renovations and more staff during peak. Unless these changes are made, we will not stay here again. All the best to those who did enjoy their stay, I did not!
What a great find! We had a small suite with a view of the ocean that was spectacular. Everything was really clean. The beds were firm but not rickety. It was very quiet overnight.
It was too windy to be on the beach, so we used the pool which was clean, comfortable lounge chairs and also very windy, but there's nothing anybody can do about that 😂 (think Kitty Hawk)
Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy. I'm not a breakfast person but I found something. We had little interaction with staff but what we did have was very pleasant.
We would absolutely stay here again; hopefully longer next time.
We had a good experience here staff was very helpful. A great place for a fraction of the cost! Steps away from the beach. Older motel with microwave and fridge air conditioners but our room was clean. The staff was very helpful and quick replacing our bed linens when our daughter got sick.They had a good selection for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again for the proximity of the beach!
Worst Motel Experience ever. We booked a one night stay. The room was covered in sand. Even the sheets. The sink had sticky coffee and juice residue on it. The mini fridge was sticky and gross. Splattered residues on the walls and window. We got up in the morning *4 hours before checkout* and went down to the pool. Come back to the room to get a shower and get changed *2 hours before checkout* and staff was in our room stripping the bedding and removing our things. We tried to grab our things and they tried to stop us. Barely understood us and we could barely understand them, so we got our things and had to go change ourselves and our child in the bathroom in the lobby. Called for someone and explained to them at the lobby and they just brushed it off. Will NEVER consider this place again. Ridiculous and we should get a partial refund if we're getting kicked out of our room hours before checkout. Not to mention the pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the parking lot is super tight and hard to get in and out of. The beds were super stiff. The only good thing about this place is the location.
