Arrived at 12am and were told that the elevators wouldn’t be working while we were there (and we were on the top 4th floor). The door to our room was open when we arrive and was very hard to shut. Probably the hottest hotel room I’ve ever slept in even though the AC is running. And we weren’t the only ones. We saw others walking out with a box fan, and the breakfast room has no AC so everyone ate in the lobby. The pool was nice. The location to the beach incredible. But I would never stay here again.

The staff was friendly and professional, and the room offered a great view of the ocean. The breakfast was delicious, and the ladies who prepared it ensured everyone was satisfied and happy. It was a great hotel after putting 400 miles on the motorcycle and we will be staying there on our next trip to the outer Banks.

Everything was as expected from booking and reviews. Ran into some issues with plumbing repairs being done and Talia at the front desk sorted everything like she was a magician. Shoutout to her and the gentleman that worked the front desk (missed his name unfortunately) during our stay. So kind and accommodating! Every member of staff was truly so pleasant. Have to add as well that the bar/restaurant food was absolutely amazing! First night wanted an easy meal and it was delicious AND affordable to feed my crew of 4.

Refused to refund me for an unused day during a holiday weekend. This hotel just wants to take your money. Joel, the general manager refused to refund a day that went unused from a booking that AMEX Travel booked for me while visiting the area to make an offer on buying a house in the area. I had planned to come back and stay again as the closing process came to an end, but I will never stay at this hotel again. Word of mouth gets around, especially considering the fact that I'm about to be a local there, living there year around.

Hotel lobby looks great. The rest of the hotel is very old and the rooms are run down. Breakfast was okay, but lacked variety. I filled up a full page and a half with problems we had here. I will try to condense them. First day, asked for a couple more pillows. The lady at the desk said she would check. We left for supper, came back 2.5 hours later and stopped at desk. The lady said she didn't have any pillows....ok... The room was horrible and run down. The patio door would not close, had a huge gap in it that spewed cold air from the ocean directly in the room. The widow looking onto the ocean was FILTHY and we could barely see through it. Cover of the HVAC was loose and laying on patio. Room was dimly lit, had two bulbs burned out. One light fixture was stained brown with who knows what. The mirror in the room had a dirty worn facing. There were no USB outlets to charge phones. The electrical outlets were very hard to get to as they had furniture in front of them. Only one was in view, it had 4 outlets...only ONE worked! The bed had a dip in the top where you put your head, that was fun. The bathroom had a return fan that ran CONSTANTLY and it was extremely loud. The shower had no pressure and the toilet was loose and wobbled when you sat on it. There was only one towel bar next to the shower and NO towel bar for the sink. We stayed 5 days, and the policy clearly states you get housekeep when you ask for it, or automatically every third day. On day 2, in the morning asked for housekeep. The lady at desk said okay. That night we came back to no housekeep. The next morning (our auto scheduled housekeep) we stopped at desk and asked to make sure we were getting housekeep and to say we didn't get it the day before like we asked. She said it would get done. We came back that evening and guess what? No housekeep. We called the desk and a very nice lady by the name of Tavia said she was sorry and would correct it. She came and did it herself! She was the only one there that helped us the entire time. Thank you Tavia! These are not exaggerations, these are all true. We could not wait to get out of there. We would not recommend this hotel and sorry we wasted our money.
