Pirates Island Golf & Corolla Arcade combines a pirate-themed mini golf course with an indoor arcade in the middle of Corolla, giving visitors a solid option when they want a break from the beach or when the weather turns.
Corolla's identity leans heavily on the outdoors — the wild horses roaming north of the paved road at Carova, the climb up the 1875 Currituck Beach Lighthouse — but a rainy afternoon or a stretch of high sun calls for something else, and that's where a mini golf and arcade combo earns its keep. It's the kind of stop families build into a week without much planning: putt a round, feed some quarters into the arcade games, and head back out.

4/26/25 - nice decent mini golf course, there's two sets to play which makes the whole 18. There are at least three chances to get a hole in one without trying (lol). They do offer military discounts too. We had a party of 10 and split into two groups. The arcade is nice for its size. Had great amount of games to play that are my favorite.

So many giant cockroaches crawling around on a few of the holes and through all the rocks and up walls of cave/tunnel we had to go through that my daughter and her niece refused to continue the course after a few holes and I honestly couldn’t blame them. Not saying it’s the course owner’s fault because I don’t know how you control them outdoors in the south, but we never saw them all over like that in prior years and wasted a lot of money since I sure wasn’t reaching into the holes to pull out our golf balls after seeing so many massive roaches.

We came back again this year to mini golf on our vacation. It had been cleaned up a lot since last year, the water features were working. We ended up only doing nine holes not 18 because it was pretty crowded and the kids got bored. To me this mini golf course kind of feels like mini putting like actual pudding like golf I mean there's no clowns and crazy noise or anything like that. But we had fun

This golf course is super cute and has a variety of easy and harder holes. Lots of cute holes and plenty of places for shade on the hotter days. Also went to the arcade and was actually able to win prizes. We got a ton from the duck machine to duck Jeeps around the shipping centers! Really great place for family!! :)

Nice course, but very unsatisfied with the cockroaches. Only place Iv seen them in the area. Especially after seeing the other comment and them saying that it would be taken care of. I’d like my money back truthfully.
