We had a very disappointing experience at Beachcomber Tiki Bar. We arrived at 5:30pm. We were seated right away, which was the only positive part of our visit. We ordered four well-done hamburgers, an appetizer, two Cokes, and two alcoholic drinks. After 40 minutes, our server apologized because we still hadn't received our appetizer, explaining that the kitchen was behind. While we appreciated her apology, it didn't explain why our appetizer hadn't come out. Meanwhile, several tables that arrived after us were served their meals and had already left before we ever received ours. After waiting an hour and a half, our server came back and told us the kitchen had burned all four burgers and they would have to remake them. At that point, I told her we would wait until 8:00 p.m., but if our food wasn't out by then, we were leaving. 8:00 came and went, and we still had no food. We got up and left. Then our server chased us into the parking lot to tell us we still had to pay for our drinks. I understand paying for drinks that were served, but after waiting an hour and a half, never receiving our appetizer, and never being served our food, the entire experience was unacceptable. We left hungry, frustrated, and feeling like our time didn't matter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
