We loved our stay here. We parked our van in their grassy tent sites. It was so great to camp on grass RIGHT next to a lil canal...felt like the Bayou! Relatively quiet (off season), a lil road noise during day but nbd. Loved hearing owners rooster. Walked to dive bar across street, also on water. Dudes were super friendly & it was cheap (no food). The lady I dealt with to chk in was very nice!

😡😡😡 Called several times today at 11:48am to reserve a tent camping site for May 4th 2026 from May 5th 2026 until May 7th 2026 and no answer at all from any of the folks running this place, GOOD LUCK TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE!! me and the wife and my small 25 pound beagle service dog wanted to rent a tent camping area for a 2 night vacation, but wont be bothering to rent one from these people now and will be looking for a place to rent for a couple nights from someone who is actually willing to pickup the phone and wants the money.....sorry but when you choose not to pickup your phone for folks to make a reservation, you leave folks with no other choice and thats the risk you take by ignoring those who wants to rent a tent camping area, oh well!!!! BEST OF LUCK TO YALL FOLKS, ALSO GOOD LUCK TRYING TO BOOK ONLINE BECAUSE WHEN YOUR ON GOOGLE AND CLICK TO GO TO THEIR WEBSITE IT JUST TAKES YOU TO THEIR MAIN FACEBOOK PAGE......SCREW THIS PLACE!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

What a cool little spot. Very accommodating for bikers. Clean bathroom. Nice views of the water. Not a lot of bugs. I enjoyed my stay here and I will probably return again next year for bike week. Fairly priced also. My only petty gripe is no campfires but, rules is rules.

The campground is pretty run down, the bathrooms and showers are absolutely disgusting. I paid for two nights but only stayed one and found a different place to stay. The only reframing quality is the politeness of the lady who ran the front desk. I would not recommend you stay here unless there are no other options. It's $25 a night which is way to high for what this place is, plain and simple it's a dump. If I could give zero stars I would.

We tent camped for two nights. The owners were very nice and had no problem with us having 5 kids and a huge, 16'x16' tent. The tent sites aren't really defined at all, so we were able to setup exactly how we wanted. The place was quiet at night, no parties or noise. The bath house was adequate. Were there some critters/bugs inside? Sure, but you have to expect that kind of thing in a small building that has the doors open and lights on all night. Would definitely stay there again.
