This is an RV campground with a bathhouse, store, gas station, laundry and golf cart rentals. The folks here are incredibly nice and helpful. The store has a nice selection , try the donuts! The spots are level and have full hookups. Some are back in, some are pull in. All have plenty of room to maneuver your rig. Highly recommend!

Our first time camping here and it was great. I think this would be considered an old school campground. We are very new to camping and enjoy the smaller less refined feel. The spots are not too close together and the location is amazing. Bath houses were clean with great water pressure. Elijah at check in was amazing. Someone raised that young man right. Overall I would return in a heartbeat!

Jernimans Campground is the perfect location for us. Right on the edge of the village and right beside our favorite ramp #72! They have always been very accommodating to us as well. On-site cart rental thats very reasonable. Full hookup sites available if you plan ahead.

Quiet clean campground. Very nice staff and they rent golf carts. July 2025 Update: July 2026 We came back to Ocracoke Island for the 4th of July and rented a golf cart because we didn't camp this year. The Jerniman's took good care of us like we were camping. Definitely recommend 👌 Thanks and see yall next year !

Perfect weekend getaway! We came off season for a spontaneous weekend away and could not have asked for a better time. Convenient website, great location, and OUTSTANDING service. Campsite had electric and water hook up, plenty of space, hot showers in private shower room, fuel pumps and store. More stores, bars, and restaurants in walking distance with everything you could need. Beautiful beaches and nature trails near by. Truly incredible people and service. Jernimans should be the top pick for any campers.
